Recently, the Symposium on the Construction of Standard System for Smart Scientific Research Stations, hosted by the China Scientific Exploration Association, was held in Beijing. Sushui Technology, a pioneer in the field of independent power supply for extreme environments, was invited to attend.
Sushui Tech.is a corporate member of the China Scientific Exploration Association. For many years, the Association has integrated scientific exploration, scientific research, and science popularization, bringing together many of China's top scientists and research teams. Sushui Tech. feels truly honored to join such a pragmatic and professional organization and to work alongside so many dedicated researchers.

At the symposium, Zhai Fengxia, CEO of Sushui Tech., shared practical applications of the company's core product — direct methanol fuel cells (DMFC) — for independent power supply in extreme environments such as polar regions, plateaus, and deserts. She noted that DMFCs offer advantages including high energy density, quick startup at low temperatures, quiet operation, and no exhaust emissions. They can provide continuous, reliable, clean electricity for research stations far from the grid, making them an important technological direction for the energy support system of smart scientific research stations.
During a break, Zhai Fengxia had the privilege of listening to Station Director He from a certain research station talk about daily work on the front line — outdoor operations at minus 40 degrees Celsius, equipment inspections during the polar night, sampling tasks racing against wind and snow... "Through their toughest perseverance, they have achieved world‑leading research results," Zhai said with emotion. "I deeply admire every polar guardian."
Sushui Tech. has always believed that the value of technology lies in serving those who truly need it. We sincerely hope that our extreme‑environment power solutions based on DMFC can better support the research work of expedition personnel. "It is our honor to be able to contribute even a small effort to help them," Zhai said.
In the future, Sushui Tech. will continue to deepen its work in extreme‑environment power supply technologies, actively participate in the construction of standard systems for smart scientific research stations, and enable clean, reliable electricity to illuminate every frontier of scientific research.
The China Scientific Exploration Association was established in 1989. It is a national, academic, non‑profit social organization voluntarily formed by scientific and technological workers, enthusiasts, and related individuals who are engaged in and passionate about scientific exploration. It is now a group member of the China Association for Science and Technology. The Association is dedicated to organizing diverse scientific exploration (scientific expedition) activities in high mountains, polar regions, oceans, deserts, and other environments, promoting the development of science and technology, spreading scientific knowledge, and improving the scientific literacy of the public. Over more than three decades of development, the Association has enabled the public to better understand nature through a series of scientist‑led scientific expeditions, infusing scientific value into outdoor activities in China.
